CBI exhibited at the Association for Research in Otolaryngology (ARO) to present our new capabilities in Otic Preclinical and Pharmacology Contract Research.
ARO was a great opportunity for CBI to learn more about current major topics in otic research. The main practical focus of conference posters was cochlear and vestibular implants; antibiotic and cisplatin ototoxicity, and various forms of deafness and hearing loss from both genetic and environmental causes. Our sales folks, Leslie Nemeth and Barry Feigelman met with many researchers and discussed their potential upcoming needs for preclinical research, toxicology and histology. We also saw a poster that used OCT for assessment of the internal ear. We are now testing our OCT equipment to see if our OCT is capable of internal assessment of the ear.
