Confocal Microscopy

CBI now offers the powerful research tool of Confocal Microscopy to support immunohistology and immunofluorescence projects in which increased micrograph contrast or three dimensional imaging is needed. The key feature of confocal microscopy is its ability to acquire in-focus images from selected depths. Images are acquired point-by-point and reconstructed with a computer, allowing three-dimensional reconstructions of topologically-complex objects. Our pathologists at CBI are skilled in the methodology. For more information, contact CBI.
